ℹ️ This function is only available when the project uses the Molio standard.

SPEC supports Molio's Beskrivelsesværktøjet 2.0, so you can bring existing Molio specifications into your project and deliver your work back in the Molio format.

Add documents from Molio

When you add a document from Molio, you get a bundle that contains more than the document you chose. After adding it, remove the documents you don't need.

1. Go to Spec → Manage.
2. Click Add Molio documents and choose From Molio.
3. Select the Molio document you need and click Add.
4. Check what was added. Delete the document you don't need: open the context menu on the document in Manage Specifications and choose Delete.

💡 Remove the extra document right away, so the project only contains the specifications you actually use.

Import a .moliospec file

1. Click Add Molio documents and choose From file.
2. Drag the .moliospec file into the dialog, or browse to select it.

All documents in the file are created with their sections, control plans and document structure. Contracts in the file are assigned to the documents and added to your contract list.

Note: If a work specification refers to a contract that doesn't exist in the file, the document is created without a contract, and you'll get a message saying so.

Export to a .moliospec file

1. Select one or more Molio documents in Manage Specifications.
2. Open the context menu and choose Export selection to Moliospec.

The selected documents are exported to one .moliospec file, including specific control plans and the contracts on work specifications.

Note: The option is greyed out if your selection includes documents that aren't Molio documents.
