Revit files can be synchronized either via COMANAGE or the Revit Add-in, depending on the file type and workflow requirements.
Synchronizing ACC Files
From COMANAGE:
You can synchronize ACC files via COMANAGE. Note: It is always the published version of the file.
-
From the Revit Add-in:
You can also synchronize ACC files via Revit Add-in.Important
If you start synchronizing via the Revit Add-in, you need to continue using the Add-in for all future synchronizations.
If you start via COMANAGE, you have the flexibility to either continue there or switch to the Revit Add-in later. If you switch to the Revit Add-in, you will be asked to convert the synchronization mode.
Synchronizing local Revit Files
Local files can only be synchronized via the Revit Add-in.
