In NTI COMANAGE you have the ability to enrich your objects with data, and then push that data directly into your Revit model. This helps ensure everything stays connected and up-to-date across your workflow.
Set up the export mapping in COMANAGE
- Go to Models in the Project Home section.
- Click the three-dot icon next to your source file.
- Select Export Settings.
- A dialog will open.
- Map your COMANAGE properties to specific Revit parameters.
- You can map values from Input, External, Reference and Model Data properties.
- Note: Model Data properties are always mapped to the same Revit parameter that the Model Data property is based on. Read more here.
Update your Revit file in Revit
- On the Add-Ins panel in Revit, click NTI COMANAGE Synchronize.
- You will be prompted to sign in. Use the same credentials as you use for COMANAGE.
- An Update Model dialog will open.
- In the update dialog, you can view:
- The Element Names of the affected types.
- The Revit parameter names and their current values.
- The COMANAGE property names and the values, that you are about to stamp into your Revit model.
- While the update dialog is open, you can add values to your objects or modify export settings in COMANAGE and then click Refresh to display the latest configurations.
- Once everything is set, click Update to write values from COMANAGE into your Revit file.
- You can now Upload the categories again to synchronize the model with your COMANAGE project.
