You can use uploaded shared parameters when writing COMANAGE data back to Revit. This helps keep your Revit parameters aligned with the shared parameter setup used in your project.
Before you start
Add the shared parameters to the project before setting up the export configuration.
How to use shared parameters in export settings
- Open the project.
- Go to Models.
- Find the Revit model you want to update.
- Open the context menu and select Export Settings.
- Select the COMANAGE property you want to write back.
- Map it to the relevant Revit shared parameter.
- Save the export settings.
If a required shared parameter is missing in Revit, COMANAGE can create it during write-back where supported.
Where: HOME / <project name> / PROJECT HOME / Models / Export Settings
