On the Model Check page, you can create Model Checks for your project.
A Model Check lets you choose which models to check and which Validation Rules to run against them.
You can create Model Checks for:
- IFC models
- Revit models
Once a Model Check is created, it is saved on the project. This means you can run it again whenever you need.
How to create a Model Check
- Go to the Validate module.
- Open the Model Check page.
- Click Add Model Check.
- Enter a Name.
- Optionally, enter a Description.
- Choose whether you want to create the Model Check for IFC or Revit.
- Select the models you want to include.
- Select the Validation Rules you want to run.
- Click Add.
The Model Check is now created and shown in the list.
Creating an IFC Model Check
Choose IFC when you want to run Validation Rules against IFC models.
After selecting IFC, select the IFC models and IFC Validation Rules you want to include.
When you click Add, the IFC Model Check is created and added to the list.
Creating a Revit Model Check
Choose Revit when you want to run Validation Rules against Revit models.
After selecting Revit, select the Revit models and Revit Validation Rules you want to include.
When you click Add, the Revit Model Check is created and added to the list.
Add button
The Add button is only available when the required information has been entered.
To create a Model Check, you must add:
- a name
- at least one model
- at least one Validation Rule
When you click Add, the Model Check is saved and appears in the Model Check list.
