When you’ve loaded Validation Rules from an IDS file, you might want a closer look at what a specific rule contains and what it actually validates. That’s what Inspect is for.

How to inspect a rule

1. Go to VALIDATE / Validation Rules.

2. Find the rule you want to review in the list.

3. Hover the rule row to highlight it.

4. Open the context menu on the right side of the row.
   

5. Select Inspect.

You’ll now see the rule details and how it’s built, so you can understand exactly what is being validated.
