You can add a new view and configure your object table by adjusting properties, applying filters, resizing columns, and more. Once customized, you can save the configuration for easy access and reuse.
Add a new view
- Click the + icon in the tab strip.
- In the dialog, enter a name.
- Select whether the view should display Types or Instances.
- The view is personal and you can edit the configuration at any time.
Configure and save changes
- Select your preferred columns from the Select properties list. When needed, you can:
- Apply filters.
- Group columns.
- Sort columns.
- Arrange columns from left to right.
- Place the Model Viewer to the right or underneath the Object table.
- A notification icon on the tab now indicates that changes have been made.
- Click the three-dot icon and Save the changes.
Share the view with your colleagues
If you have configured a view that may interest your colleagues, you can share it.
- Open the tab's context menu by clicking the three-dot icon and click Share.
- In the dialog choose one or more user roles.
- Users with the chosen roles now have access to your view.
Project views
- Only project administrators can create Project views.
- Click the + icon in the tab strip.
- Fill out the dialog.
- Check the box labeled Add as project view.
- Note: The project view is automatically shared with all members of the project.
- Only project administrators can save changes to project views.
- Views derived from a project template are, by default, project views.
Shared views og project views
All project members can share a view, but only Project Administrators can create Project views. Both types of views share the same 'shared' icon on the tab. Hovering over the icon will display details about the share state.
Note: Only the owner of a shared view can save changes to it. Only Project Administrators can save changes to project views.
