We’re back with another update to make your COMANAGE experience even smoother! Here’s what’s fresh, fixed, and fine-tuned:
✨ New Functions
• VALIDATE now supports Revit model checks
VALIDATE has been expanded with support for Revit-based validation. You can now create Revit validation rules, set up model checks, run them on Revit models, and review the results directly in COMANAGE. Validation rules and model checks can also be managed in templates, making it easier to standardize your validation workflow across projects.
• Create your own IFC validation rules
You can now create IFC validation rules directly in COMANAGE, without being dependent on an IDS file. This gives you more flexibility when setting up checks for IFC models.
• Shared Parameters for Revit export
A new Shared Parameters area has been added to Project Settings. You can upload a shared parameter file, select the parameters you want to use, and include them in your export configuration.
• Use shared parameters during write-back to Revit
When writing data back to Revit, COMANAGE can now use shared parameters from your uploaded shared parameter file. If a required parameter is missing in Revit, COMANAGE can create it during write-back.
• Revit 2027 support
The COMANAGE Revit add-in now supports Revit 2027. The installer and supported version list have also been updated to include Revit 2027.
• New Revit add-in version
The Revit add-in has been updated to version 3.0.0, including improvements to compatibility, installation, and synchronization.
• Faster Revit synchronization
Synchronization from Revit has been significantly optimized and is now up to 8 times faster, helping you work more efficiently with larger models and frequent updates.
• Edit Element Name
You can now edit Element Name through COMANAGE where supported. This gives you more flexibility when managing model data and writing updates back to Revit.
• Improved calculations with geometrical parameters
Calculations can now work with geometrical parameters, giving you more options when creating calculated values based on model data.
• Model history log
You can now open a log for your models to see who changed what, and when. The log gives you a clearer overview of changes to synchronization, import settings, export settings, and model setup.
🛠Fixes
• Moving columns in the Objects grid
We fixed an issue where moving columns in the Objects grid could affect the layout unexpectedly. Column ordering is now more stable when adjusting your view.
• Better number formatting
Number values are now rounded more cleanly, making values easier to read in the UI and in export output.
• Improved Revit API performance
The Revit API integration has been optimized, improving performance and stability when working between Revit and COMANAGE.
🧰 Adjustments
• ACC renamed to Forma
COMANAGE has been updated to reflect Autodesk’s naming change from Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) to Autodesk Forma.
• Improved parameter selection
Parameter dropdowns now display information more consistently, making it easier to find and select the right parameter.
• More property types in Map Data
Map Data now supports selecting more types of properties, giving you more flexibility when mapping data.
• Improved model check selection
The Add Model Check dialog now includes a tree view, making it easier to navigate and select what should be included in a model check.
• Improved Models overview
The Models area has been adjusted with additional model information, giving you a better overview of your project models.
• Performance and stability improvements
We have made several technical improvements across COMANAGE to improve stability, maintainability, and overall performance.
