When you upload a CSV file in the Configuration module under the External Data card, the system notifies you if the file does not meet the required structure.
 

Be sure the CSV file meet the following requirements

• A column containing unique values must be placed on the far left.
• Every column in the table must have a header.
• All column headers must be distinct (i.e. no duplicate names).

💡 If your file is correctly structured but you still receive the Upload Failed dialog, it may be due to empty rows or columns in the file. To check for this, open the CSV file in a plain text editor such as Notepad and remove any empty rows or columns before uploading again
