We’re back with another update to make your COMANAGE experience even smoother! Here’s what’s fresh, fixed, and fine-tuned:

✨ New Functions

• New module: VALIDATE

The first version provides functionality for you to import IDS files, set up your model checks, and run them based on your needs. It currently supports IFC only. 

• REST API for project data extraction

A REST API is now available, enabling you to extract your project data.

• New filter for Model Viewer and Objects Table (3D + 2D)

A new filter makes it easier to filter the model viewer and objects table based on Selected, Shown, or Hidden. This also works for 2D drawings.

• Improved External Data configuration (Excel multi-sheet preview)

You can now upload Excel files with multiple sheets and see what the file includes before adding it to the project.

• Room and Space export for family instances (Revit add-in)

When using the Revit add-in, COMANAGE now exports Room and Space information for family instances.

• Import setting: only import instanced elements

You now have the option to import only instanced elements in your Import Settings.

• Language support (12 languages)

COMANAGE now supports 12 languages.

• Import Presets for IFC

You can now create Import Presets for IFC models, so you can standardize your import of IFC files.

• Duplicate Views in the Manage Objects Table

You can now duplicate your Views in the Manage Objects Table, give them new naming, and share them with the desired project members.

🛠 Fixes

• Improved synchronization for large models from Revit

We had an issue where very large models with many selected categories had trouble synchronizing from Revit. This has now been fixed.

🧰 Adjustments

• ACC sign-in/out moved to Profile menu

We have moved the sign in and out of ACC to the Profile menu.

• “Update is available” shown only when the model is ready

We now only show “Update is available” in the Model table if Autodesk has processed the model and it is ready for use with the AEC Data Model.

• Search in Import and Export settings

You can now search in the Import and Export settings.

• Bulk Edit stays open after running

Bulk Edit in the Objects table no longer closes after a run, so you can perform multiple bulk actions on the selected objects.

• Save selected page size per view

You can now save your selected page size in your view, so you don’t have to change it each time.

• Additional Revit categories can be extracted

You now have the option to extract the Revit categories Model Groups and Generic Annotations.
