As Account Administrator, you set up your company's NTI COMANAGE account: who has access, which projects exist and which modules each project uses. You do this in Account Settings, which you open from the tile on Home. If you don't see the tile, you don't have Account Administrator access.
1. Add your colleagues to the account
- Go to Account Settings → Users and click Add User.
- Enter one or more email addresses. You can paste a list.
- Select Account Admin for colleagues who should also manage the account.
- Click Add. Invitations are sent automatically.
See Adding users to the Account.
2. Connect Forma (if you use Forma)
To work with models stored on Forma, the NTI COMANAGE app must be added to your Forma hubs. See Set up the Forma connection.
3. Create a project template (optional)
A template saves you from repeating the same setup on every project. It can contain properties, views, user objects, users, roles and import presets. Projects created from the template start with that setup. See Creating a project template.
💡 Project templates are included from the Essential plan.
4. Create projects and choose modules
- Go to Account Settings and click Add project on the Projects card.
- Fill out the dialog and select the modules the project should use: Objects, Validate and/or Spec.
- Optionally, select a template.
- Click Add.
You automatically become Project Administrator of projects you create. Only Account Administrators can add or remove modules: open the project's context menu and choose Edit Modules. See Adding a new project.
5. Hand over to the Project Administrator
Open the project and add the person who will run it as Project Administrator. They take it from there. See Getting started as a Project Administrator.
Good to know
- Your plan decides how many modules and users each project can have. See Welcome to NTI COMANAGE.
- Account Administrators can join any project without being invited. See Can I join a project without an invitation?
- Deleting a project is permanent. See Deleting a project.
